The “PureLife” group signed an industrial research cooperation protocol with the Egyptian Center of Excellence for Water Desalination Research, affiliated with the Desert Research Center at the Ministry of Agriculture, in the fields of water treatment and desalination.

Areas of cooperation include designing and producing water desalination membrane units of all types to meet the needs of development projects and all entities working in the field of water, providing the needs of the Egyptian market, and exporting the surplus to the Arab and African markets.

Dr. Hossam Shawky, Director of the Egyptian Center of Excellence for Water Desalination Research and Vice President of the Desert Research Center for Projects, said that the results of applied research regarding the design of water desalination membranes are the result of the effort of an integrated work team for a long time to penetrate manufacturing technology and the need of the industrial partner represented by Pure Life Company is necessary to complete the project for application. Industrial and providing market needs.

Mohamed Hobeish, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Pure Life Company, said that all the necessary expertise and capabilities will be provided for the project and will place Egypt on the map of technology for manufacturing water desalination supplies. It is scheduled to enter into cooperation with the center in other projects in the coming period.

It is noteworthy that “Pure Life” began its investments in Egypt in 2015, by establishing the Pure Life Company to manufacture filters and desalination plants, and the product is allocated for export. The factory is located in the public free zone in Damietta, and its production began in January 2016, and the company is currently exporting its products to the Gulf countries and the European Union. Europe, the United States, and most countries of the world, while meeting part of the needs of the local market

Last year, the group pumped 25 million pounds to produce the raw material “bacterial filter cloth” used in manufacturing medical masks, with a production capacity sufficient for more than 10 million masks per day, and the factory is the first in Egypt.
